Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods at checkout:

  • American Express

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not accept cash, cheques, bank transfers, or any payment method not listed above. We aim to introduce additional payment options in the future — these will be updated here when available.

Currency

All prices on our website are displayed and charged in British Pounds Sterling (£). If your card is issued in a different currency, your bank or card provider may apply a foreign exchange conversion fee. LIOREN has no control over these charges and accepts no responsibility for them.

When You Are Charged

Payment is taken immediately at the time you place your order. By completing checkout, you authorise LIOREN to charge your chosen payment method for the full order amount, including any applicable VAT and delivery charges.

An order confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as your payment has been successfully processed. This email serves as your receipt — please retain it for your records.

Payment Security

Your payment security is our priority. All transactions on our store are processed by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest level of payment security certification available.

LIOREN never receives, sees, or stores your full card number, CVV, or any sensitive payment details at any stage of the checkout process. All card data is handled entirely within Stripe's secure, encrypted environment.

Our checkout uses SSL encryption (indicated by the padlock in your browser address bar), ensuring that all data transmitted during your purchase is protected.

3D Secure Authentication

Some transactions may be subject to 3D Secure authentication (such as Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode), depending on your card issuer. If prompted, you will be redirected to your bank's authentication page to verify your identity before the payment is completed. This is an additional layer of security designed to protect you against unauthorised use of your card.

Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment is declined, your order will not be confirmed and no charge will be applied to your account. Common reasons for a declined payment include:

  • Incorrect card details entered at checkout
  • Insufficient funds available within the account
  • Your bank blocking the transaction as a safety precaution
  • An expired credit or debit card

Refunds Process

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method used at checkout. We are unable to issue refunds to a different card or account profile.

Once a refund has been approved and processed by us, please allow the following timelines:

  • Stripe processing window: 5–10 business days for the refund to clear.
  • Bank clearing window: An additional 3–5 business days for your card issuer to post the credit back to your account statement.

Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and our business, all orders are subject to standard fraud screening. In some cases, we may need to verify your identity or the details of your order before processing. If we require additional information, we will contact you by email. We reserve the right to cancel any order we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or unverified.

Pricing Errors

In the event that a product is incorrectly priced on our website, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund. Please refer to our Terms of Service for full details on how pricing errors are handled.

Gift Cards and Store Credit

We do not currently offer gift cards or store credit. If and when this changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.
